"Holy Spirit Jubilee"
St. Luke Episcopal Church
Sponsored by Anchorage Moravian Church
10/19/12 - 10/21/12

Friday 10/19/12
These meetings were very special because there was a gathering of people from all over the state.  The Alaska Federation of Natives Convention was being held in Anchorage during this week.  In the evenings many came to be in the presence of the Lord.

We began teaching on John 15.  “If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you will ask what you will and it will be done unto you.”

There were many wonderful testimonies and it was such a refreshing time being in the presence of the Lord.  God gave some words of knowledge that backs and necks were being healed and that depression was being lifted.  Several received healing in their seats as God’s wonderful healing power fell upon them. One man came up to us after the service and said that he had neck problems for the last 50 years. He had a crooked neck but in an instant, God just straightened his neck out! Praise God!

Saturday 10/20/12
We continued to teach from John 15 and concentrated on the fact that Father wants us to have a closer relationship with Him. Being saved is just the beginning.  Receiving the baptism with the Holy Spirit is another step. The fullness of God’s will is for us to be carriers of His glory and to release healing to the people around us. We talked about the fact that Jesus only did what He saw His Father do but He also asked for miracles to be done.  For example, after Lazarus died, Jesus came two days later. At the tomb, Jesus said,

And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”                                             John 11:42 (NKJV)

Jesus and Father had already had a talk and Father basically instructed Him to raise Lazarus up.  Like Jesus, we can do what we see Father do but we can also go to Him and ask for miracles. If we abide in Him and His words abide in us, we can ask what we will and it will be done for us (John 15:7).

After this message, everyone laid hands upon people around them that needed healing. Many were touched. We also had an altar call for people to give their lives to Jesus or recommit their lives to Jesus. Nearly one-half of the room came forward to give their lives to Jesus.  Yay God!

Sunday, 10/21/12
What an awesome night as the presence of the Lord was so wonderful in this place.  Many testified about the goodness of God in their lives and shared wonderful songs of worship.

Our message tonight was out of Luke 5 and we talked about the fact that God is a God of faith.  God is “willing” to do it now if you can believe Him to do it now. We talked about the leper who came to Jesus and said, “Lord if you’re willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus said, “I will”.  Jesus is still willing to do things “now”.  He died and paid the price 2,000 years ago so that people could be saved, healed, delivered, and set free.  We also talked about the friends of the paralytic man that brought him to Jesus. When Jesus saw the faith of the friends, he said to the man, “Your sins are forgiven you…” We exhorted the people to have faith and believe God.  If you can believe, all things are possible.

After the message, we called forth people that had hearing problems.  As we prayed, God’s power fell and three of them noticed instant improvement in their hearing.  Others that were sick around the room stood up and believers around them laid hands upon them and prayed. The power God began to fall in a wonderful way and hands went up all over the room indicating that they had been healed.

It was wonderful ending to a wonderful set of meetings.  We thank God for the people that we met around the state. Our prayers are with them as they go back to their perspective villages.  Many thanks go to Pastor Nicholson for inviting us to minister during these very special meetings.
