God’s power was displayed in a wonderful way during these meetings. Our messages for this set of meetings centered on having faith for healing. God gave special revelation about having faith for healings and miracles. As the Word of God was preached and taught, faith rose in the hearts of the hearers and God healed, delivered, and set free in a wonderful way.
During the meetings, 4 people came forward to give their lives to Christ. In addition, several came off the streets into the meetings. One man, an unemployed recovering addict, received a miraculous answer to prayer for a job the very next day after believing God to do a miracle in his finances.
Many received healings. Here a few:
One woman suffering from migraine headaches and blurry vision was instantly healed. Her vision cleared up to the point where she could clearly see words on a written page.
Another lady, while standing across the room from where prayer was going on, received healing in her foot which had been swollen with pain for about 3 weeks. All the pain was gone!
The pastor of the church received healing and noticed immediately that his blood sugar level went down from the 300’s to 108 that night.
Another lady receiving deliverance from Bells Palsy noticed immediate improvement in her eye. It was starting to open up!
Believers were taught “How to Keep What God Gives” and were encouraged to stand firm upon God’s Word and hold onto their healing.
On Saturday morning, a witnessing class was held and we went to the streets. Many received the Word of God as seed into their souls and we believe God for a great harvest because of that seed. During the week one elderly man came to the Lord during an outreach.
These meetings were also a special time of celebration for my parents who accompanied me on this trip. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary! The church threw a little party for them. Thanks Pastor Nelson and Mitzi!
During the day, I was their chauffeur, taking them to visit friends and family. It was an honor serving my parents in this way. But the neatest thing is this….Seven friend and family members came to the Lord through our visits. Many also received instantaneous miracles as they believed God for healing in their bodies. God is a good, good, God! We give Him all the praise and glory!
