Tonight 3 people came and the Lord led us to speak on Psalm 91. One of the young men there is possibly going to be shipped out to Afghanistan soon. The Lord's presence was so wonderfully peaceful. Both men present received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and were encouraged greatly as the Holy Spirit ministered to them.
We will be logging upcoming meetings at the Ward's home. Please keep us in prayer if the Lord leads you. Our heart is to reached the lost, unchurched, and backsliders. May many Mormons come to Jesus during our stay.
September 5, 2008 - Friday
How great and glorious is our God. Several of Jeannie's friends (some Mormon and some ex-Mormon) gathered to hear God's Word and to be healed. As we spoke on "Healing is the Children's Bread" faith literally began to rise and all saw that healing has already been purchased for us, God's creation, 2000 years ago. All we have to do is take it.
Before this meeting, our prayer was that every sick person be healed and every captive be free. That's exactly what God did!
A woman who had fibromyalsia for 20 years was instantly healed. All the pain was gone. She could bend her knees, bend over, have people touch her, and walk freely without any pain! Praise God! This woman's husband also received a back healing and literally felt the current of God's power burst through his body. All of his back pain left instantly!
Another woman with fibromyalsia since birth had symptoms that came and went. She currently had a dull back pain. After prayer, all the pain was gone. She claimed her deliverance from fibromyalsia.
What a privilege it is to be here. It is so exciting to see God touch and heal the hungry needy people as they come by night after night. God is faithful and He loves all of his creation -- no matter who they are!
September 7, 2008 - Sunday
This was "Friends of God" meeting night at Jeannie and Grover's house and we all looked with anticpation to what God would do. The "Friends of God" is a group of ex-Mormons that regularly gather to worship, pray, seek the heart of God, and feed on His Word. They are awesome folks that just love Jesus with all their hearts. As we spoke on healing, God's power began to fall all over the room. It felt like waves of God's glory falling down from heaven!
God gave a word of knowledge that someone had a problem with a collar bone. As the dear lady came forth with her hands lifted, God's power hit her and she was healed where she stood! A lady with Crones disease was instantly healed and when checking back with her two days later, she has had no pain and could now eat cheddar cheese! A small portion of cheddar cheese would send her into terrible spasms and pain in her stomach. She reported that she ate a large quantity of cheddar cheese and had no pain at all. Praise the Lord!
Many received prophetic Words and encouragement from the Lord. It truly was a blessed time being with the Friends of God. Thank you Pastor Colleen and Apostle John for allowing us to minister to your flock. God is a great God and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think! Love you guys!
September 8, 2008 - Monday
A few days ago we prayed with a dear Mormon man that was retired. He was in a wheel chair with tubes sticking out of him. He had a problem with emphysema, heart problems, and an overall weakness in his body. He could barely move from one place to the other without someone's help. We found out today that 2 hours after we left, he got up out of the wheel chair unassisted. Put on his clothes and went to the bathroom! What an awesome God we serve! Vince also gave his life to Jesus a few days ago. PTL!
During the afternoon, a young man came and brought his children for prayer. God loves the little children!
This evening a young man (an ex Mormon) came for prayer. He was distraught over some personal problems he'd been experiencing. After some counseling, he recommitted his life back to Jesus! We're believing for a great turn-around in every area of his life!
September 9, 2008 - Tuesday
This morning a dear woman came with her daughter. She and Jeannie have been friends for years. Jeannie encouraged her that it was time for her to go to the next level with God. Right there on Jeannie's porch, this dear woman received the Baptism with the Holy Spirit and spoke in her heavenly prayer language. God's presence was so wonderful. God also instantly healed her of arthritis in her hands and feet. She could now completely close her hands. She couldn't do that before. She left rejoicing in the goodness of God!
September 11, 2008 - Thursday
Our host, Jeannie, lined up a number of appointments with people for us to pray for and we went...from house...to house. God's presence and power was in every place.
House 1: A mother bought her baby that was born with the chord around it's neck. The chord was around it's neck too long. As a result, brain damage, cerebral palsy, blindness and deafness occurred. We prayed believing God for a miracle and God's power wonderfully fell on this little one. I wish all miracles were instant but I know that God always answers the prayer of faith. Whether we 'see' the result right away doesn't matter. We believe God's done it. Another woman received an instant miracle in her shoulder which had been in pain. She was now able to pick up things without feeling any pulling or pain in her muscles. Thank you Lord!
House 2: Next we visited a home where the mother had ankle surgery and had screws in her ankle. There was limited motion in her ankle and when wearing heels, her ankle would hurt. After prayer, she noticed greater mobility in her ankle. Her 12 year old daughter was also prayed for who had a ligament problem in her left knee. She could not run without experiencing pain. After prayer, she took off running down the street, no pain!
House 3: We visited a young mother that's been given a 'death sentence' by the doctors. The doctors say there is no hope but cancer is NOTHING for doctor Jesus. As we visited and encouraged our dear sister, God's power wonderfully filled the room. She is continuing to stand on God's word. Please agree with us for her continued healing. She has a destiny to fulfill in Jesus and fulfill it she will!
House 4: This was really a nursing home where a Morman woman was diagnosed with a brain tumor and given a short time to live. She gloriously gave her life to Jesus. We also prayed for her to be healed and believe that God has done a great work in her life. An elderly Mormon missionary also received healing in her rotor cuffs and arms and could move them about freely without pain. She also noticed greater range of motion in her hands after we rebuked arthritis.
Thank you Lord for all YOU'VE done in the lives of these people. May they never be the same in Jesus name!
