Oh how awesome it was to be in Alaska again! It's been 11 years since we've been in this state to minister. As the plane was taking off for Alaska, I felt quite a stirring in my spirit. It was as if we were being propelled into destiny. I pray that God allows us to have a part in what He's going to do in this Alaska Great land. Many prophetic words have gone forth and I believe we are on the threshold of something so great that words cannot adequately describe what God is about to do!
Our messages for these series of meetings were “An Invitation to Intimacy” and “The Glory of God”. Hearts were open and ready to come into a greater intimacy with God. Many came forward to give and recommit their lives to Christ during the Sunday morning service.
During the Sunday evening service, God’s healing power fell in a wonderful way over the congregation. Those needing healing basically stood in the front, putting their hand on the place that needed healing. God’s healing power fell like a thick heavy blanket and as it did people received their healing. 2 ladies received a healing from sugar diabetes. One of these ladies had pain in her knees and noticed immediately that the pain was gone. A man standing at the front noticed improvement in hearing out of his right ear. Normally he would not be able to hear people speaking from 15 feet away. He could now hear clearly. Another man was sitting in the back and never came forward. God’s power fell on him in his seat. He was instantly healed of a foot problem and he also noticed that his hearing was better. In the past he could never hear his wife speaking if she stood directly behind him. She stood behind him and spoke and he could hear everything she said! Another man with dementia was prayed for and his family noticed improvements in his condition a few days later. A lady who had to go in for a test for cancer also received her healing. When she went in for testing, they could find nothing indicating that she had cancer! Praise the Lord!
On Wednesday, many received impartations and anointings from heaven for what lies ahead. To God be all the glory for what He’s about to do through his people all over the earth!
God is a GOOD God! We give Him all the glory for all he’s done. Thank you Pastor Steve and Tonia. We so enjoyed being with you and seeing you again. God has truly stirred up our hearts concerning Alaska and we know that God’s “Best” is yet to come. May you see nothing but increase, increase, increase in 2007!
